Emerald Bay Completes Development That Is Fit For A King
Emerald Bay recently completed the build of 32 apartments at Kings Court in Warrington Town Centre including two penthouses.
The Kings Court development occupies a prominent position on Horsemarket Street in Warrington, and is the most aspirational scheme within the Town Centre. Its close proximity to Warrington Central Station and the Bus interchange have secured significant interest from professionals across the world, who have chosen it as their preferred rental location.
Emerald Bay was appointed the main contractor for the £5 million scheme, and recently were awarded ‘best change of use’ in the 2018 Local Authority Building Control Awards.
The development comprises a mixture of 1-bed and 2-bed apartments arranged over 3 floors of accommodation. Each apartment was individually designed to make the best use of space, with many of the top floor apartments enjoying excellent views over the Warrington skyline. Emerald Bay was involved with the design process from day 1 and worked closely with local architect, Keith Summers of MSA architects, to achieve the clients requirements.
Emerald Bay won the contract having undertaken various maintenance works at the Courtyard Shopping Centre since 2014. Its knowledge of the site, alongside the range of services that Emerald Bay can provide both during and post construction, meant that it was appointed the main contractor and also continues to provide maintenance services to the commercial tenants.
James Peacock Property, who manage the lettings at the site have been overwhelmed with the response from the public. “This is a quality residential scheme and it shows in the quick uptake of rentals for the apartments. We are delighted with the build and the aftercare provided by Emerald Bay, and we would be happy to recommend their services”.
